130 minutes. Build codebook navigation speed and domain-level readiness.
Know what to study. Walk in ready.
Start with a free diagnostic, find your weak spots, and drill what actually matters — with instant explanations and a study path that adapts to you. Built for the trades, starting with the electrical licensing exam.
Electrical is the first trade live. Each new trade — and each exam — launches only after its content is mapped to the official outline and reviewed by a licensed pro.
One exam first. Done properly.
The recommended first product is Texas Journeyman prep: a clear statewide exam, a high-intent learner, and a repeatable model for future licenses and trades.
110 minutes. Practice complete solution paths, not answer-letter memorization.
Both portions are scored separately, so the study dashboard should be too.
Three steps to a study plan.
No fluff. Find your gaps first, then spend your time where it actually moves the needle.
Take the pilot diagnostic
Answer six quick questions that sample core electrical fundamentals — enough to surface your first strengths and gaps.
See your gaps
Get an immediate strengths-and-weaknesses snapshot. It is a starting point—not an official pass prediction.
Explore the study loop
Open the private prototype to try practice decks, review misses, a timed mock, and speed-based drills.
Build the fundamentals. Then map the exam.
These five areas demonstrate the product today. Before paid launch, replace the generic structure with the official Texas Journeyman domains and separately cover NEC knowledge and calculations.
More than a question bank.
The prototype already has the bones of a sticky study product. The next investment should be expert-reviewed content depth, accounts, and real checkout—not extra decoration.
Gap diagnostic
Turn a quick starting score into a clear next study action.
Review your misses
Keep incorrect questions in a focused repair deck until the idea sticks.
Timed mock
Practice decision-making under a clock and compare topic performance.
Code Sprint
Build lookup speed by racing to the right code article and topic.
Spot the Violation
Apply rules visually instead of memorizing isolated answer letters.
Progress loop
Streaks, goals, badges, and a miss queue give learners a reason to return.
One exam. One clear price.
Fixed-duration access matches how people buy test prep. Use the private pilot to validate willingness to pay before connecting checkout.
Earn trust before asking for a card.
- Quick fundamentals check
- Basic weakness snapshot
- One sample study loop
The recommended first paid consumer offer.
- Will include 350+ licensed-reviewer-checked questions
- Three complete two-part simulations (planned)
- Separate NEC and calculation readiness
- Miss review and adaptive study plan
The fastest path to larger, repeatable revenue.
- Learner access codes
- Manager progress view
- Cohort diagnostics
- Volume pricing above 25 seats
Pricing is a testable hypothesis, not a promise. Do not accept payment until the exam mapping, licensed review, privacy terms, refund policy, support path, and checkout are complete.
What this pilot is—and is not.
Is Tradeforge official exam prep?
No. This is an independent private prototype and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TDLR, PSI, NFPA, or any apprenticeship program. The Electrical track launches first; other trades will each need their own official outlines and qualified review.
Why focus on Texas Journeyman first?
A Texas apprentice license does not require a state exam. The Journeyman license has a defined statewide two-part exam and better matches this product direction. See TDLR apprentice requirements →
What if I need an apprenticeship aptitude test?
That is a separate product. Many apprenticeship aptitude tests emphasize algebra and reading comprehension, so they should never be mixed with licensing-exam or electrical-fundamentals prep.
Which NEC edition applies?
It depends on your exam date, and edition adoption varies by state and changes over time — always confirm the current edition and effective date with your testing provider and licensing board before you rely on it. A production account will ask for your exam date and route every lesson and question to the edition it's been verified against. TDLR electrician licensing →
Are these live exam questions?
No. Practice questions are original and should never be copied from or represented as recalled PSI questions. Article references can guide study without reproducing protected code text or tables.
Does the current score predict a pass?
No. Scores in this demo only summarize performance inside the prototype. A real readiness model needs full blueprint coverage, enough questions per domain, and outcome validation.
Why sell fixed access instead of a subscription?
Most learners have a specific exam date. A 45- or 90-day pass feels fairer than an open-ended subscription; recurring revenue can come from new exam packs and training-program seats.
Will this expand to other trades?
Yes—after one exam proves demand, outcomes, and unit economics. Reuse the learning platform, but build and review separate content packs for each trade, jurisdiction, credential, edition, and language.

My Progress
How far you've come — and where you're headed at this pace.
⚠️ "Readiness" measures your performance inside this prototype only, and the projection is a study-motivation estimate based on your own practice trend. It is not a prediction of passing the official exam — a validated model needs full blueprint coverage and real outcome data.

Tell me what you think
I'm building Tradeforge one piece at a time, and honestly your two cents matters more than any roadmap I've written. What clicked, what confused you, a question that felt off, something you wish it did — send it raw. No form-letter, no ticket number, no bot.
This is an early build, so for now your note is saved on your device — when Tradeforge launches it comes straight to a real person (me). Nothing is shared publicly, and you're never signed up for anything.
Got it — thank you, genuinely.
That kind of note is the whole reason this gets better. If you left an email and it needs a reply, you'll hear back from a human — not a template. Now go get that ticket.
Question Reviewer
Internal tool for a licensed reviewer: verify each question against a specific NEC edition and resolve reported issues. Prototype — verifications save on this device; production would gate this behind a reviewer login and a shared database.
